Four Players Dropped As Uganda Cranes Fly Out

 

Uganda Cranes has left for a four-day training camp in Tunisia ahead of their first AFCON Qualification encounter with Algeria.

Coah Milutin Micho Sredejovic has left behind four players from the squad that has been residing at Paradise Hotel in Kisasi.

The four players are Aliro Moses (Wakiso Giants), Denis Otim (Express), Yiga Najib (Vipers) and Mato Rogers (KCCA).

The quartet have remained in camp at Kisasi and may be considered for the second game against Niger on 8th June 2022 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

A total of 16 players have flown out including Goalkeepers Lukwago Charles and Nafian Alionzi.

Gavin Kizito, Lwaliwa Halid, Muleme Isaac, Walusimbi Enoch, Musa Ramathan, Byaruhanga Bobosi, Karisa Milton, Kizza Martin, Miya Faruku, Okwi Emmanuel, Begisa James Penz, Marvin Youngman Joseph Fahad Bayo and Jagason Muhammad Shaban are also on the team.

These will be joined by eight foreign based players Bevis Mugabi, Allan Okello, Allan Kyambadde, Elvis Bwomono, Aucho Khalid, Abdu Aziz Kayondo, Derrick Kakooza and Steven Serwadda in Tunisia.

Uganda will hope for a positive result when they face Algeria on June 4th.
