KCCA Leopards will play their first game this season when they take on JKL Lady Dolphins at Lugogo.

This, is a repeat of last year’s semis where JKL swept the Leopards on their way to the final.

The Leopards went on to finish third after beating KIU Rangers while JKL were beaten in Game seven against UCU to win the Women’s NBL.

KCCA look the more changed side of the two, bossing with a couple of additions including the return of small forward Joy Chemutai.

Former A1 Challenge and Angels player Ruth Kirungi, Peace Nakirijja who last played for JKL, Joselyn Keddy, Linda Martha Nakalembe and Faridah Kadondi (Netballer) are the other additions.

They have lost three key players in Ruth Letaru, Leticia Awor and Becky Longom, the last two have joined JKL!

The Leopards will also have a new coach on the touchline, said to be US coach in Miller Fitzgerald after the departure of Ali Mavita who left due to work commitments.

Unlike KCCA, JKL on the other hand will be playing their second game this season.

The Dolphins beat UCU Lady Canons in their opener on Sunday 67-51.
