The semifinal draws for the rugby championship playoffs (rugby premier league qualifiers) were revealed on Monday 29th May, 2023 at 11 am.

The clashes are set to see four formidable sides vying for a spot in the final and the chance to attain promotion to the Nile Special Rugby Premiership League in the season 2024..

The first semifinal will witness a clash between Gulu City Falcons and Eagles. Both teams showcased their strength and prowess in the quarterfinals played on the 27th at the Makerere grounds.

Falcons soared above Njeru Hurricanes, securing a 31-10 victory while Eagles soared to new heights, defeating Lira Big Boys with an impressive 96-6 victory.

The second semifinal will see an epic battle between Warriors and the Elgon Wolves.

Warriors emerged victorious against the Tooro Lions 41-16 as Elgon Wolves conquered Mbarara Titans 55-03 in the first quarterfinal match played in Entebbe.

The semi finals will be played at Damwaters— Jinja on Saturday 3 June, 2023.
