AFCON U17: Uganda Leaves For Kenya Camp

Uganda’s National U17 team, the Cubs, has left for Kenya for another residential camp.

The team recently camped at Njeru in preparations for the upcoming CAF U17 AFCON Finals set in Tanzania.

The team departed for Kenya aboard Kenya Airways to Nairobi where it will spend 9 days (1-9) before heading to Tanzania on 10th April for the U17 AFCON finals,” confirms a statement on FUFA website.

Uganda is set to take part in Africa U17 tourney that starts April 14th – 28th in Tanzania.

The Cubs will seek to finish among the best two in the group that has Tanzania, Nigeria and Angola to qualify automatically for the U17 FIFA World Cup that will be held in Brazil.
