Police FC: We Deserved more Than A Draw – Mubiru

Police FC Coach Abdallah Mubiru claims that his side deserved more than a point in a one draw with SC Villa on Wednesday.

SC Villa and Police FC shared spoils on matchday four of the StarTimes UPL game played at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

“It was an entertaining and competitive game as both teams tried using the ball,” started coach Mubiru.

“We were denied a genuine goal which was unfortunate in the first half and we could have won this game. We made a mistake that cost us despite creating a number of chances.”

Johnson Odong canceled out Emma Kalyowa’s opener for both sides to settle for a point in an end to end affair.

When asked about the end result, Mubiru added:

“We deserved to win today’s game. We played better them.”

This was the Police’s second straight draw. They played a goalless draw with Police FC after a 2-0 loss to BUL FC on matchday two at Wakissha. Police FC were docked three points for failure to turn up on matchday one and have -1 point.

The Peace keepers will be facing Proline FC on 15th September per the league fixture.
