NBL Playoffs: Nam Blazers Out To Make Amends in Game 3

*JKL Lady Dolphins Vs KCCA Leopards – 7pm (2-0)
*Nam Blazers Vs KIU Titans – 9pm (1-1)

Namuwongo Blazers and KIU Titans square off on Friday night at YMCA for game three of the NBL Playoffs.

The Blazers failed to follow up their thrilling 81-56 Game one win during Game two which was taken by the Titans who tied the best of five series.

It’s now back to scratch for both teams in the remaining three games where all is to play for.

The 75-64 showed that the Blazers are not immortals in a game a couple of their stars struggled to get thing going including Amisi Saidi who shot 4-for-20 from the field.

Paul ‘McGyver’ Odong managed just three points from his 29 minutes he spent on a court while the whole team was out-rebounded 39-80!

Credit will go to the Titans for staying in the contest against a deep star-studded Blazers side.

Gaius Mahamba did a tremendous job in anchoring the Titans defense in game two in Michael Otieno’s (Gatete) absence, contributing 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Fidel Okoth has barely done any wrong in the series but Joseph Chuma has blown hot and cold in the post season.

While Chuma has not lived to the billing as many would have thought, it’s hard to count out a player of his calibre.

With his skillset and the fadeaway jumpers, Okoth can get a chance to get off completely and tear the Blazers apart.

Ahmed Kassa’s and Isaiah Mabeny Ater’s shots are yet to drop while Allan Munaaba has been 50-50 throughout, but if things fall in place for the Titans, the Blazers will be in for a long series.
