In what promises to be an intense clash, D-Mark Power will lock horns with JT Jaguars on Wednesday at the Indoor Arena in Lugogo at the ongoing National Basketball League (NBL).

D-Mark Power, aiming for their third consecutive win, enters the match with a mix of confidence and concern.

Despite stumbling in their initial encounters against UCU Canons and City Oilers, they bounced back impressively with victories over Kampala Rockets and JKL Dolphins.

However, their journey has been fraught with challenges, notably a short-handed roster comprising just eight players.

The lack of depth on the bench will continue to pose a significant hurdle for D-Mark Power coaches Timothy Odeke and the ever vocal Brian Namake

And it’s one that their opponents, JT Jaguars, are keen to exploit to secure a crucial victory.

In their recent outing against Kampala Rockets, D-Mark Power suffered on the boards, being out-rebounded 59-53.

Whether JT Jaguars’ Center, Joseph Chuma, can dominate the paint against Power’s formidable trio of Samad Imran, Isaac Afidra, and Phillip Ameny remains to be seen.

On the flip side, JT Jaguars are grappling with their own set of issues, having endured three consecutive defeats against UCU Canons, Our Saviour, and Nam Blazers.

This downturn comes after a promising start to the season where Sudi Ulanga’s side clinched victories against Livingstone, Ndejje Angels, and KCCA Panthers.
