Preview: KCCA Visit Troubled Gaddafi

KCCA will be going for a fifth consecutive victory as they head to Gaddafi FC in a league game on Friday in Jinja.

Coming off a resounding 4-1 triumph against Busoga United at Lugogo, the visitors have been in stellar form, having recently overcome tough opponents like Vipers and URA, the latter in Uganda Cup.

Under the guidance of Coach Abdallah Mubiru, KCCA appears rejuvenated, exhibiting impressive football and creating numerous scoring opportunities.

Currently placed seventh, KCCA are not in the title race but will be targeting a better placement at the end of the season in a campaign they lost their opening five games.

On the flip side, Gaddafi languishes in the relegation zone, tied on points with Busoga United following their draw against SC Villa.

Struggling with a lackluster attack, Gaddafi faces yet another daunting challenge against KCCA, a team that hasn’t conceded a goal in their last four away fixtures across all competitions.

Gaddafi has conceded nine goals in their last two games, Mbarara City (5-0) and Bright Stars (4-0) but both have come on the road.

KCCA won the reverse fixture 6-1, with Etienne Katenga, Shaban Muhammad (2), Usama Arafat (2) and Dominic Ayella on target while Sharif Ssengendo’s goal proved a consolation.
