Preview: UPDF Continue Relegation Fight
UPDF faces a crucial battle for survival as they host Bright Stars in a league game in Bombo.
Sitting second from the bottom with 18 points, UPDF sit four points away from safety.
With only five league games left, UPDF must treat each match as a final to avoid relegation.
Coming off a valuable draw against Mbarara City at Kakyeka, coach Pius Ngabo and his side will aim to capitalize on that result.
Meanwhile, Bright Stars, with little at stake, enter the match after a 2-2 draw against KCCA, where they narrowly missed a victory, with their captain Nelson Ssenkatuka some clear chances to score.
Bright Stars felt aggrieved after being denied a penalty during the match, and a couple of other calls that did not go their way.
But against UPDF, they will feel they are up a against a weaker side in comparison to KCCA, and have a chance to rack up more points.
