Wakiso Giants and Vipers played out a 1-1 draw in a Startimes Uganda premier league game played at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium.
Mohammad Shaban marked his long awaited debut with a goal in the sixth minute to hand the visitors an early lead.
Viane Ssekajugo scored the equalizer in the 65th minute with a good strike from the left flank that hit the net to deny vipers win.
Vipers debutant Disan Galiwango had earlier attempts on goal with his free kick cleared away by Hassan Wasswa before Derrick Emukule flapped away his shot.
Shaban had his header off a Disan Galiwango corner go out wide, while Ibrahim Orit had his efforts denied by Emukule.
Vipers will be hosting Kitara in their next league fixture as Wakiso Giants take a trip to Arua to play onduparaka.
Wakiso Giants remain unbeaten in the league after their third straight draw.
