Preview: Mubiru Confident As Kops Besiege Kavumba

Bright Stars welcome Police in Kavumba on Match-day 10 of the Uganda Premier League.

Police FC coach Abdallah Mubiru is confident that his side will do enough to walk away with maximum points on Saturday.

He however recognises the strides taken by his opponent Bright Stars.

“Of recent, Bright Stars have been performing well, they are a good team and very ambitious,” Police coach Mubiru stated.

“However, like I normally say, this time round we set our targets higher most of the teams. We are in for serious competition and we are praying to Allah to give us a win.

“I am confident that they will be able to deliver the result we want.”

The Kops will bank on Ben Ocen who has scored six league goals while Johnson Odong and Eric Ssenjobe will be key players having put in decent shifts recently.

The hosts on the other hand, had a slow start but have since gained momentum and are unbeaten this year.

Ronald Ssempala and Joseph Akandwanaho will be the go to guys.
