Asuman Alishe Weighing On Available Options

SC Villa captain Asuman Alishe is set to leave the 16-time record league winners, The-SportsNation sources have been told.

The defender has had a mixed spell at SC Villa since joining from Mbarara City FC.

This concluded season, he was subjected to an internal suspension after an interview with Daily Monitor when he revealed that he and other players had gone months without pay.

He is out of contract at Villa and many Uganda Premier League clubs have been alerted.

“True, am out of contract at the club,” Alishe told The-SportsNation.

“I have been approached by some clubs and am weighing up on the available options. But I can still renew with SC Villa if at all they table a good offer and we reach to terms.”

The defensive kingpin is in his second spell at SC Villa.

He was unveiled at Villa in January 2019 by then club coach Douglas Bamweyana alongside 13 other new signings including Benson Muhindo, Ronald Magwali, Emmanuel Kalyowa and Ramathan Yakubu among others.

He has also played for Mbarara City, Victoria University, URA and BUL FC.

The rock solid no nonsense defender is a leader, aggressive, tenacious, industrious and hard tackler.
