Buganda Regional League side Kajjansi United will seek to punch above weight when they host Big League side MYDA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 tie at the Uganda Clays ground in Kajjansi.

Kajjansi United will be fancying their chances after a good start in the Buganda Regional League where they top the Katonga group.

They have a fully fit squad and come into the Uganda Cup after a 3-0 win on Sunday against Standard High.

Coach Patrick Kimuli will bank on a couple of players including Kisakye John Wisley, Marvin Nyanzi, Farouk Musisi and veteran Mike Sserumaga to knockout MYDA FC.

But they will be mostly banking on home support in what promises to be a tricky tie.

They earlier dismissed Lugazi FC and Manyangwa to reach this stage.

Kajjansi United will hope to exorcise 2020 demons that saw them eliminate current holders Vipers SC after shootouts at Wankulukuku.

Kajjansi United will hope to pounce onto the poor form of MYDA FC who have failed to use the experienced players they have in the squad to get results this season.

MYDA FC sit bottom of the FUFA Big league table after Round One having collected just a single win and three draws in the 10 games played.

Robert Ssentongo, Vincent Kayizzi, Patrick Ochan and Geoffrey Sserunkuma have all failed to use their experience to help MYDA FC return to top flight as it stands.
