The launch happened at Fairway Hotel in Kampala.

“That is one of our off-pitch strategies aimed at taking the club back to top flight football,” the club revealed.

The show will air on various SuperSport channels on DSTV for a period of one-year. The move aims at fostering the objectives of the club and provide a platform that will expose the club to the global market.

Ex- Cranes star Timothy Batabaire, who was one of the guests at the event mentioned that this will as well market Ugandan football and the best platform to use was SuperSport.

Police FC Chairman SCP Halango Timothy re-echoed that the purpose is not only to market football but also to put Uganda as a country on the outside market and develop talent through such a big platform.

The Chairman Halango was flanked by Kwenaite Thomas (Analyst, SuperSport), Julian Dube (Producer, SuperSport), Timothy Batabaire, Police CEO, RTD CP, PK Arinaitwe, Acting Force Sports Officer, SSP Nampoza Ritah, head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa among other dignitaries.

In the league, things are moving just as planned for the Cops, as they’re leading the 15-team Big League table with nine points.

Police have won all three of their opening matches. They beat Ndejje University 3-1, defeated Jinja North by a goal to nothing and also beat new entrants Young Elephants 2-1.
