Rehema Adubango, a defender with Kawempe Muslims has died – RIP.

She was electrically shocked by power, rushed to Mulago hospital where she succumbed to death later on, confirmed Club Captain Tracy Jones Akiror to this Website.

“Its really so so sad to us because we’ve lost a sister, teammate and one of the best defenders in Kawempe and Uganda at large,” said Akiror. “We can’t explain the pain we’re going through right now.”

Adubango’s shocking death comes a day after she scored into own net as Kawempe lost 4-2 to UCU Lady Cardinals in playoffs at Lugogo.

She was in form six and had won three league titles with the team. She was also part of the team that won the National Secondary School games held in Mbale.
