Transfers: Time Running Out For Express FC

Unpleasant news for Express FC fans coming from Wankulukuku have it that the club may not sign anyone in the January transfers window that closes this Friday at midnight.

The Red Eagles lost to SC Villa, succumbing to their 10th league loss in the season, pushing the club further down to the abyss.

With relegation fears beginning to mount, there are are unrests among the club fans who will need to see reinforcements as the club is just two places above the drop zone.

Jonathan Kambale and Baker Lukooya have been training with the club at Wankulukuku and are expected to be the new additions.

Kambale still has a running contract with Express FC but was not registered to play for the club this season.

The Red Eagles have 30 registered players with two slots available if they want to add another player in January.

With the squad lacking enough quality, Cyrus Kibande and Hamdan Nsubuga are still some of the players that are still sidelined.

The team’s potential was hugely laid bare on January 15 when they lost 6-1 to Police, the club’s heaviest defeat in recent history.

After Mbarara City FC on Sunday, Express FC will take a long trip to face Onduparaka while URA FC, KCCA and Vipers are still on the cards.

Express FC have conceded the highest number of goals in the league so far, tied with Tooro United and Proline at 32!
