Police FC Fails To Pay Kakiri Agreed Transfer Fee For Samson Kigozi

Third Division side Kakiri Town Council FC is crying foul after top division club Police FC has failed to complete agreed transfer free for Samson Kigozi.

Kigozi left Kakira for greener pastures to Police FC in an agreement of Sh2M last season.

Sources says that Police FC CEO Francis Kidega had initially agreed to pay half the amount (Sh1M) but since the player did not have a passport, Sh500,000 was exchanged and Sh500,000 was used to secure a passport for the player.

The signed agreement

Both sides reached an agreement that the remaining balance will be paid to zero by January 7, 2020.

Ever since then, Kakiri has not received a single coin in addition to Sh500,000.

Kakiri manager Isaya Nakibinge claims that they have approached Police FC officials on several occasions but all in vain.

“We have tried to remind them but they kept on telling lies. Sometimes they say that Kidega is not available,” he said.

Kigozi has been instrumental for Police FC this season despite a poor run of results for the top flight club.

Efforts to reach Police FC for a comment have been fruitless.

Kigozi has also played for Kiboga Young FC.
