Frank Zaga Vows To Reignite Career At Police

Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye has vowed to reignite his fading career after sealing a move from Vipers to Police FC.

The youngster is the latest addition for the Peace Keepers, joining on a two-year deal.

“I feel so great doing this signing,” Zaga told Police media.

“I’m already feeling at home here. I’m looking at developing my talent and working hard to make sure that both club and myself achieve our goals.

“Team work and support will help us achieve our mission. Our fans will not be disappointed, we shall deliver and we will win great things.”

Zaga, coming through Uganda’s U17 side, was one of the hot prospects and many believed that he is the future of Ugandan football after other showings in the Copa Coca-cola.

His performance has however stalled partly due to lack of playing time and his personal addictions.

He reunites with Coach Mubiru who scouted him in 2014 and it is expected that the gaffer will try to mould the kid back on the right track.

He joins the likes of Tonny Mawejje, Tom Ikara, Hassan Muhamood among other new signings at Police FC this season.
