Faisal Ssekyanzi Rejoins Express FC As 12th Signing

Midfielder Faisal Ssekyanzi has rejoined Express FC on a three-year deal, the club has officially announced on Friday.

He is the latest Express FC signing, totalling to 12 so far after Crispus Kusiima, Denis Otim, Richard Bbosa, Abel Eturude, Baker Sakah, Isaac Nsengiyunva, Yaya Mahad Kakooza, John Byamukama, Godfrey Lwesibawa Kiragga Mustafa and Charles Musiige.

The midfielder re-signs at Wankulukuku after ending his spell at Tooro United FC.

Ssekyanzi came through Express Junior team ranks in 2015/16 season and has termed the return as a “huge milestone”.

“Joining Express FC is a huge milestone but what is more important is playing for the badge, I hope to build on what I achieved last season,” Ssekyanzi told Express FC media.

Ssekyanzi who also played for St Mary’s Nabweru, was forced to terminate his contract at Tooro United through the player status committee after going nine months without pay.

At Express FC, he reunites with former Tooro United players including Arthur Kiggundu, Isa Lumu, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Charles Musiige, John Byamukama and Mahad Yaya Kakooza.
