Mbarara City FC Permits Five Players To Look Elsewhere

Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City FC has given five players greenlight to speak to other teams ahead of proposed release.

The five players are Bashir Mutanda, John Adriko, Salim Huud, Jackson Opio and Chato Bamba.

These players are still contracted with the Ankole Lions but will receive their contract termination forms after getting new clubs.

However, Mutanda is said to have already ended his stay at the club after sign-on fee issues.

John Adriko is said to be in touch with Express FC.

Innocent Wafula has reportedly left the club while the trio of Ivan Eyam, Solomon Okwalinga and Ibrahim Magandazi are said to be on their way out.

There are still uncertainties surrounding the club’s future with coach Livingston Mbabazi.

Mbarara City have not been busy in the market so far with their only addition being Aaron Okoth from Admin FC.
