Express FC Confirms Players Ins and Outs Ahead of 2021/22 Season

Express FC have confirmed their transfer activity after the end of the window as the club prepares for the 2021/22 season.

Among new additions include striker Raymond Walugembe who the club says that he joined joined on deadline day of 21st September 2021 on a two-year deal.

Walugembe joins from Kyetume FC and almost featured prominently for Buddu FC in Masaza Cup.

“We have made a few additions to the team because we obviously had departures,” said Express FC coach Wasswa Bbosa as quoted by the club website.

“I believe the Technical team made the right decisions in all departments and that the new faces know what is at stake.

The Red Eagles, UPL and CECAFA champions, will be hoping to improve on the achievements of last season.

They lost their Uganda Cup journey at the semis and also fell at the first hurdle on return to CAF Champions League.

Bbosa added: “We intend to defend the titles we won (the League and Kagame Cup) and I am convinced this squad will deliver the holy grail.”

*Players In – Joel Mutakubwa, Joseph Akandwanaho, Deus Bukenya, Nicholas Kasozi (loan from Kyetume), Raymond Walugembe.
*Promoted: Henry Mwebe, David Lukwago, Dawson Mafumu

*Players Out: Mathias Muwanga, Sadat Mugenyi Frank Kalanda, Isaac Nsengiyunva, and Frank Ssenyondo
*Loaned Out: Joshua MusokeĀ (Gaddafi FC), Desmond Kanene and Joshua Sentambule (Proline)
