MYDA FC managed to collect a point in their 1-1 draw against Ndejje University in a FUFA Big League game the Arena of visions stadium in Luweero.
Brian Ssali put the hosts ahead when netted from the penalty in the 15th minute of the game in the rainy conditions.
The sloppy pitch led to struggles in the Ndejje University defence as they committed avoidable mistakes which saw them surrender their lead for Samuel Kaddu to tap in the leveller in the 36th minute.
The second half had nothing much to offer as the flying eagles of MYDA FC held onto their nerves to defend as a team.
A point from Luweero assures that MYDA FC have a positive start in second round as they aim for relegation survival in Big league.
They now move a from the bottom of the 11 teams log to occupy the 10th position with seven points from the 11 games played.
Ndejje University who aim for UPL qualification sit 5th on the log with 16 points from 11 games as only two points separate them from 3rd placed Kitara who have 18points.
MYDA will now focus on their next encounter against log leaders Blacks power at the king George memorial stadium.
Ndejje will resume their dreams with a lo g trip to west Nile as they face off with Calvary at the Green light stadium in Arua.
