Budo League: Guinness On Board As Season IV Kicks off

Guinness boosted season four of the Budo League that kicked off on Sunday at the Legends ground in Kampala.

This, is an initiative of Old students of Kings College Buddo.

Guinness brand representative Philipa Nantamu, addressing the press, explained that they have come on board as a means of giving back to their consumers.

They have provided playing kits, trophies among others.

“We are glad to be part of this,” started Nantamu. “We are now focussing on fans’ involvement in the game of football and this is the perfect time for us to network and encourage a healthy living.”

The league will be played once every after three weeks for a period of eight months till July, 2020.

The fourth season has seen the league is grow from 12 to 14 teams in total ranging from the years 2002 to 2015.

The new entrants are End Game (Class of 2013) and Mango Power (Class of 2002).

A new and unique feature of TBL has also been included to make the event more interactive especially for non players was introduced as TBL E-League, a video game competition on Play Station.
