Hosts Onduparaka FC will be targeting return to winning ways when they play host to Mbarara City at the Greenlight stadium in Arua on match-day23.

Mbarara City FC beat Onduparaka FC 2-1 in a reverse fixture played at Kakyeka Stadium with Solomon Okwalinga scoring a double including a late winner after Rajab Kakooza had scored the leveler.

Onduparaka have lost their last three games – Vipers, Express and SC Villa, all by 1-0.

This will be the club’s last game before they celebrate 10 Years of existence on February 25 in a function where President Museveni is the chief guest.

Onduparaka FC have only won once in the last five league games and they have tasted loss at home against Express FC in the second round.

Onduparaka’s poor run in the second round of the StarTimes UPL has seen the side drop from third to sixth with only 30 points accumulated from 22 games.

Mbarara city on the other hand, have won twice in their last five games, losing twice and one draw.

They come into the fixture on the back of a 4-3 loss to struggling Kyetume FC.

The Brian Ssenyondo coached side is a point below onduparaka in the eighth position on 29 points.

Brian Aheebwa and Ibrahim Orit will be key for the visitors and it is not yet known whether captain Hillary Mukundane will feature.
