Busoga Vs Kyetume: Coach Kikomeko Positive

Busoga United FC head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko is confident ahead of their league home game against Kyetume FC at the Mighty Arena, Jinja.

Busoga United lost to Kyetume FC 2-1 in the reverse fixture played at the Mandela national stadium and Busoga will be seeking for revenge.

“We have prepared very well having played five games in the month of February and lost only one and now beginning a new month,” said Kikomeko.

“The players are in good gear with the exception of our midfielder George Kasonko who is suspended.”

Kyetume FC beat Onduparaka FC 3-2 but Kikomeko is not worried about the opponent’s of front line led by veteran Robert Ssentongo.

“We are playing a team that is scoring goals because of the maturity and seniority but we shall work upon that to see that we don’t conceed goals,” Kikomeko added.

Both teams come into the fixture after winning their previous games – Busoga united beat Wakiso Giants 1-0 while Kyetume FC beat onduparaka 3-2.

Busoga United are fifth on the StarTimesUPL table with 39 points and a win against Kyetume will see them move a place up.

Visitors Kyetume are ninth on the log with 29 points.

David Bagoole who has been man of the match three times on a bounce for Busoga United will be the main man for the Abbey Kikomeko side.

Busoga have not lost a single game at home in the second round.
