Onyango Trolls ‘Hard Tackler’ Taddeo Lwanga

Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango’s impressive talent doesn’t stop on the pitch, his social media followers can at least confess to that.

The player has always taken to social media, especially Twitter, to take a swipe on his teammates and friends.

He hilariously trolled Cranes teammate Taddeo Lwanga. The Tanta SC player becomes the latest of Onyango’s victim on a long list that includes Emmanuel Okwi, Allan Kateregga not to mention his Sundowns teammates.

Lwanga – called a hard tackler by most fans because of his combative style of play and use of excessive force on the field to dispossess opponents – posted a photo on Twitter on Tuesday.

He captioned it “Bi Quarantine Bintwala” loosely translated as “Quarantine taking a toll on me.”

It was Onyango’s comment on Taddeo’s photo that attracted much attention.

The 2016 African player of the year (based on the continent), commented: “league enagenda okudamu nga nebewalinya omwaka oguwedde bawonye,” meaning “Players you injured will have recovered when by the time the league will return.”

Taddeo, last year, joined then newly promoted Egyptian Premier League club Tanta SC from Vipers SC.

He has also played for Express FC and SC Villa.
