Emmanuel Kalyowa has slammed SC Villa management over unpaid salaries and has asked FUFA to come to the rescue.

Kalyowa says that he has gone 10 months without pay and accused the club of clearing about two months for selected players.

Kalyowa scored three goals last term as Villa finished third with 46 points.

He says that FUFA should help active players, as they are trying to do with the Ex Internationals.

“When I see FUFA coming up to help ex internationals and ex players in financial aspects, I wonder why it can’t still help active players who are deliberately not paid by their clubs,” Kalyowa posted on his Facebook.

“But why fufa for real! Imagine serving a club with debts of 10 months and going through this Covid19 period with just 5kg of rice from FUFA only to hear that a group of fellow players received a salary of two months.

“Just because some of us have expired contacts or we are not good enough for the club we are always taken bad always with issues concerning money in Uganda but this is too much for us to handle.”

It was reported recently that Derrick Ndahiro’s agent Ronald Mwine ran to FUFA over the same issue and the player was paid some of his arrears by Villa!

Kalyowa is one of the players whose contract has expired at Villa, including Ambrose Kirya, Samson Kirya, Ibrahim Kibumba and Bashir Mutanda among others.
