BUL FC new signing Davies Mutebi has reflected on his time at Police FC after joining the Eastern Giants.

Mutebi says that there some challenges he faced at the club but managed to learn a lot from coach Abdallah Mubiru.

“My time at Police FC was challenging for sure more so about money, but the team is good because it helped me a lot to improve on my performance because I learnt many things there with Coach Abdallah Mubiru,” he disclosed in an exclusive interview with The-SportsNation.

“But as you know, we always look for better things, so I just wish the team all the best. It was not an easy decision to leave Police FC because I love the team but I also have my targets and ambitions that’s why I decided to leave Police FC in tears.”

“But I don’t regret leaving Police FC, because I also didn’t start there; I was at Bright Stars FC, then Police FC now I am at Bul FC. I am going to miss many things like my brothers I mean the players because we have been a family, my coaches and my few fans but the world is round so we shall meet again.”

On whether he was given playing time, Mutebi admits: “Yes of course, I was given time and I thank coach for giving me playing time and trusting me in goal.”

Mutebi said that he left Police FC with no excuse and he added that he will always be part of the Police FC family.

On why he joined BUL FC, he revealed:

“I joined BUL because it is also a good team, they are well organized and competitive, am sure it’s a step towards achieving my targets. Am planning to be in the National team and to win trophies even going abroad to play professional football.

“I expect a competitive season, I want to achieve a lot, so expect a good performance and a good display on the pitch.”
