Betting Insight: Croatia Can Avoid Defeat Against France

We are back again with UEFA Nations League. A couple of matches tonight but our main focus is on the big main, Croatia taking on the World Champions France.

Croatia will play host to France Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb, in what is a repeat of the 2018 World Cup final.

France won the final in Russia 4-2, thanks to goals from Mandzukic (og), Griezmann, Pogba and Mbappe.

The recent meeting in Paris, first round of this group, saw France replicate this scoreline (4-2) with Griezmann, Lvakovic (og), Upemecano and Giroud on target.

Speaking about Giroud, the Chelsea striker is expected to start on the bench after starting the last two games, with Griezmann, Martial and Mbappe the preferred attacking trio.

Didier Deschamps may not ring many changes to the team that drew goalless against Portugal, but Sissoko and Pavard will expected to push for starting places.

Croatia on the other hand, will miss out on suspended Marcelo Brozovic, and Mario Pasalic is expected to fill the void.

Pasalic is expected to be joined by Modric, Kovacic, Vlasic and Perisic in the middle of the park while Petkovic will be given the burden of hunting for goals.

Who To Trust? Croatia have lost to Portugal and France in this group, but both were away games. They beat Sweden in their only home game in this campaign so far.
Like you have already seen with my heading, I have confidence that Croatia can pick something tonight and there is great value for guarding their win tonight (1X)
