S. Sudan Vs Uganda: Preview, Predicted Lineups and How To Watch

Monday, November 16
*South Sudan Vs Uganda Cranes – 4pm
(Nyayo National Stadium)

Uganda Cranes will be targeting maximum points when they face off with South Sudan Bright Stars in Kenya in Group B of the AFCON Qualifiers.

With seven points, victory for Uganda will seal their place to AFCON Finals in Cameroon if Burkina Faso beat Malawi in the other group game as well.

South Sudan will fancy their chances on Monday after taking the Cranes to the wire in an earlier meeting T Kitende.

However, the Bright Stars have no home advantage given that the game will be played ‘away from home’ – Nyayo Stadium. Juba stadium still under construction.

Predicted Lineup:

Cranes coach Jonathan McKinstry is expected to make two or three changes in the squad that started against South Sudan last Thursday.

Denis Onyango is expected to retain his spot in goal, and the same can be said of right back Elvis Bwomono despite having a frustrating debut earlier.

Dissan Galiwango will come in for suspended Joseph Ochaya while Lwaliwa replaces Ronald Mukiibi to partner Timothy Awany in goal.

Karim Watambala, Allan Okello and Fahad Bayo are all braced for their starts.

How To Watch:

The game will not be broadcast live on any Ugandan TV stations!

FUFA has confirmed that they will have a radio commentary on 102.1 FUFA FM.

With South Sudan being the host nation, they together with CAF hold the rights on TV coverage but no communication on live broadcast anywhere so far.
