Balungu Makes U-turn To KIU Titans

Forward Denis Balungu has returned to KIU Titans after a short stint at Betway Power.

Balungu joined Power in February last year after ending his stay at the Kansanga based side.

He never played competitive basketball at Power, beside the UCU Invitational tourney, after the league season was canceled prior to tip-off due to Covid19.

The Titans have confirmed the return of Balungu who has signed a two-year deal.

“I am happy to be back home. The ambition is still the same, it’s about winning the championship. We came close to in 2017 when we reached the finals and I’m focused on reaching the finals again,” said Balungu.
