UPL Transfers: URA confirm the acquisition of Kabon

Uganda Premier League side URA FC has confirmed the signing of former Onduparaka forward Kabon Living on a two-year employment contract.

He joins the Tax Collectors after having spent the last six years of his professional footballing career with the West Nile side.

The confirmation comes from the club months after numerous reports had already indicated the deal as done and dusted.

Upon signing the contract, Kabon had this to say: “Am glad to have completed this move after all the rumours in the media. My decision to play for URA FC because my vision of the future resonates with the project the club is putting up.”

He would also use the same platform to express his readiness and willingness to learn from the senior players at his new side.

As the Caterpillars struggled to navigate through the previous season, Kabon ensured that he was outstanding and scored eleven goals in the Uganda Premier league.

This incredible form attracted his suitors to struggle for his signature and to their luck, the Tax Collectors won this race.

His addition is indeed a big boost to URA FC as they gear up for continental football. Kabon comes with a lot industry as exhibited through his magical left foot.

He becomes the fourth official signing at the club joining other new arrivals like Derrick Ndahiro, Simon Baligeya and Andrew Isiagi.

The Tax Collectors will face off with Ethiopian Coffee in the preliminary round of the CAF confederation Cup.
