URA FC To Walk Back On Ssebwalunyo’s Loan Deal To BUL

Uganda Premier League side URA FC are set to make a u-turn and recall goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo from his proposed loan move to BUL FC.

Ssebwalunyo had earlier orchestrated a season loan move to the Jinja side in a bid to command more playing time, something that was clearly hard to comeby while with the Tax Collectors.

It is further believed that the return of James Alitho to the team which was coupled with a return to full fitness of the club’s first choice goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi went a long way in switching his mind up.

This can now be spoken about in past tense because according to sources close to the club, one of their unnamed goalkeepers (eitherAlionzi or academy graduate Samuel Mwaka) has suffered an injury that could see him sidelined for an entire season.

Hannington Ssebwalunyo was recently unveiled at BUL FC

The club is hell-bent on not disclosing who the player is but the saga in essence lives only the Alitho and just one of the two as options for the custodian work.

A recall for Ssebwalunyo to return seems a nobrainer for a URA FC side that is intensifying preparations for this week’s first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round fixture against Ethiopian Coffee.

The Tax Collectors have also been busy in the transfer with the capture of seven players including: James Alitho, Simon Bakigeya, Derrick Ndahiro, Kabon Living and Vianne Sakajugo.
