Mukwala Bags Four as URA Put Tooro United to the Sword

Steven Mukwala scored a quadruple as URA obliterated Tooro United in a rescheduled 6-1 Uganda Premier League game at the Arena of Visions.

The one-sided game was over just at halftime as the hosts led 4-0.

Mukwala broke the deadlock in the 21st minute after a little touch on Saidi Kyeyune’s long range strike before doubling the lead 9 minutes later with a header off Moses Sseruyidde corner

He later completed his hat-trick in the 56th and bagging his fourth of the game at the hour mark.

Joachim Ojera also put his name on the score-sheet when he received a long pass from Goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo before slotting home in the 36th minute.

Rwothomio Cromwel scored the other goal a few minutes later after a nice interplay with Mukwala.

In the 54th minute, Mark Nsubuga pulled one back for Tooro United who rarely threated Hannington Ssebwalunyo’s goal.

Ssebwalunyo made a decent save to deny Denis Ojara thunderbolt in one of the few Tooro’s chances.

URA moves to 9th in the log with 7 points in 4 matches while Tooro Unitec are 14th with 4 points in 6 matches.

What next for both sides.

URA FC’s next assignment will be against Vipers at the St Mary’s stadium Kitende on Saturday 27th while Tooro United will be away to Soltilo Bright Stars in Kavumba Recreation Ground on Friday 26th.
