Buddu Ssaza played to a 2-2 draw with Buwekula in a Masaza Cup game held at the Njeru Technical Centre on Thursday.
This was the second game for each side after their first games on Wednesday.
Isaac Musiima brace from two penalties ensured that Buwekula picked a point on the day. Bruno Bunyaga and Edward Namasa scored the other goals in a four-goal thriller.
Buwekula who, thrashed Mawogola by 5-1 in the opener, scored as early as the 7th minute through Musiima, who scored from the spot.
However, Bunyaga who scored the lone goal for Buddu in their opener levelled matters in the 18th minute, heading home to put his side back into the contest.
In the second stanza, Musiima restored parity for his side, scoring from the spot again with just 15 minites to play.
However, three minutes later, Buddu levelled matters through Namasa to avoid defeat on the day.
The result sees Buwekula remain on top with four points level with second placed Buddu but with a better goal difference.
Meanwhile, Butambala and Mawogola also played drew 1-1 in the first game of the day at noon.
Isiah Sabiiti scored for Mawogola while Blancher Mulamba struck Butambala as they picked their first point in this edition having lost to Buddu in their opener on Wednesday.
What Next – Friday is a rest day as action resumes on Saturday. Buddu will be up against Busujju in the first game of the day at noon before Mawogola take on Buwekula later in the evening.
