Omar Mandela, Isaac Mwesigwa: Bomb Await To Explode

The relationship between SC Villa President Omar Mandela and CEO Isaac Mwesigwa is said to have hit a dead end.

Reports close to the club have it that Mandela has sacked Mwesigwa, a month since he took over the job.

“I am still at the Club,” Mwesigwa refuted claims when contacted by this website.

It is said that Mwesigwa has not reported to the Club offices this week, and those close to him say that he has been contemplating on throwing in a towel.

Mwesigwa was not given overall powers at Villa, in contrast with his time at Express.

The former football agent initially presented a list of players to the Club as potential signings for the ongoing transfer, but he was shunned.

Mandela has openly told close friends that he will not work with Mwesigwa.

After his suggestions including forming a full secretariat were all denied by the Club, Mwesigwa felt the environment was not fertile at Villa since he entered the office.

Mwesigwa, appointed at Express in May 2020, took enormous credit for helping the side win a league and Cecafa Kagame cup title.

He left the Red Eagles at the end of last season, in a campaign the side was hit with Financial hardships.
