Coach Wasswa Bbosa Pays Tribute To Late Abdul Kinobe


The sudden death of former Express FC team manager Hajji Abdul Kinobe has hit the football frantenity like a level 6 thunderstorm.

The 70-Year-old, fondly known as “Life Manager” breathed his last on Tuesday 22rd June.
A household name at Wakulukuku, Kinobe was the acting team manager for Express FC in the 2011/2012 title winning season and has been a pivotal figure in the day to day running of the club’s activities.

Wasswa Bbosa who has been a close confidant with the fallen old man for over three decades has given a moving elougy about the deceased.

While speaking to the club’s official website, Bbosa said,
“I REALLY DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START FROM”

“HAJJI KINOBE’S LOSS IS A MASSIVE GAP THAT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO FILL, HE ATE, SLEPT, BREATHED EXPRESS FC, WE’VE HAD SO MANY LOW MOMENTS AT THE CLUB BUT HE KEPT ENCOURAGING US TO KEEP GOING, I HAVE LOST A GUARDIAN, FRIEND AND CONFIDANT, WE CAN ONLY CELEBRATE HIS LIFE AND WORK HARDER LIKE HE ALWAYS SAID,” the gaffer told the club’s official website.

Born 70 years ago to Mr. Sulaiman Ssewagudde and Ms. Aminah Naku, both deceased, Mr. Kinobe Abdul was an ardent Express FC fan from 1968 during his youthful years.
