Moses Golola Extends Dates For Last Career Fight

Fighter Moses Golola has rescheduled his revenge fight against South Sudanese champion James Majok to early next year.

In an exclusive interview with The-SportsNation, Golola also confirmed that his clash with Majok will be his final kickboxing fight as he heads to retirement.

Golola, who prefers to be add ‘of Uganda’ to his name, says that he wishes to fight in-front of his adorable fans that have supported him all along not in a scientific way.

“I was forced to postpone this fight because I want to say thank you to my fans that have supported me for all those years before I announce my retirement,” Golola stated.

“I might end up bringing Majok on the Valentines day so that I show him that he is a wife and am a man,” the motor-mouthed fighter added.

Golola has gone further to call upon the President of the Republic of Uganda to grace his last fight in the Sport.

“I have beaten almost everyone in Uganda including some of his soldiers (Titus Tugume) and many more, it’s to absurd that am yet to retire but the president has never graced any of my fights as I put people down in seconds and thus I call upon him to grace my farewell fight when time comes.”

In related develooments, Golola has organised fights on Boxing Day (26th of December) where boys from Golola Talents Academy will showcase their talent at LaGrand Hotel as they aim to Fundraise for the development of Golola Talents Academy.

“These boys are fighters, they might become a problem to this country if they are not helped in their career,” Golola added. “These are future champions that only need a helping hand.”

In the female category, Kembabazi Joan takes on Docus Nantongo while Nanteza Mortin will fight Nanono resty.

Martin Kawesa (Golola’s son) will also be in action against Kamulegeya Joshua in the feather weight category

Other fights include: Opio Esawo vs Mutwalibu Gidudu (welter weight), Ssekito Alex vsLubega Mohamed Ali (light Middle), Ngabo Micheal vs Afande Lamech, Ogwanga (Super welter weight) and Gilbo bigboy vs Mr Hitman (Heavy weight).
