Uganda midfielder David Owori has joined Swedish second tier Utsikens BK from Spanish side Valez FC on undisclosed contract.
The development has been confirmed from Utsikens official social media platform.
“In preparations ahead of the new season coming in Six weeks, we have good news to present,” wrote the club.
“The relationship Utsikten has with Spanish club Velez FC where Owor had been, is the reason why he joined us. He is going to be playing the wingback, he is best known for being so fast and speedy running qualies.”
On 3rd April 2022, the side starts its new life in Swedish Superettan, which is the second league tier of Swedish football.
The side was promoted to Superettan last year after topping the South Group in Division one, which is the third league tier of Swedish football, where they have been playing since 2015.
The former Jogoo joins from Spanish Tercera division (fourth divisio) side Velez FC which he joined in March last year.
Owori started his footballing life in Nsambya Young Stars Academy before later joining Wembley Soccer Academy and Lukuli United.
He also played for SC Vipers and Proline FC.
