Preview: KCCA Seek To Maintain Perfect Home Run

KCCA FC host inconsistent URA FC in the Uganda Premier League match at Omondi Stadium in Lugogo as they target to maintain a 100% home run at home in this season.

The Kasasiro boys under Morley Byekwaso haven’t seen the very best start in the league due to consistency in performances.

But they come into this tie with back to back wins which is a huge boost for the side which struggled with picking up results away from home.

KCCA FC managed to pick a 1-0 away win against UPDF FC in their previous game registering their first away win in the league.

Head coach Morley Byekwaso is eager to maintain a perfect home run but is aware of the damages URA can cause.

“We are home and we want to maintain the 100 percent record we have at home this season. We need to stick to our principles and play well but also play with a purpose,” Byekwaso said.

“URA is one of the clubs that do contend for the league title every season and getting a positive result against them at our home will be very key for what we set out to achieve this season.”

The Tax Collectors of under Sam Timbe have struggled with squad balancing this season which has seen them register mixed results coming in as they have only managed two wins in the seven games played.

A 1-0 win against Arua Hill in their previous game will play a huge boost as they visit KCCA FC at Lugogo and Timbe anticipates a positive result.

“Preparations have been good and we only hope for positive results against KCCA FC. Our Fans should expect a good game and the boys are in a good shape. The win against Arua Hill in a last match motivated us alot and we want to build on that for a positive result.”

URA FC have dominated this tie in the last 24 meetings as they have managed to win on 11 occasions and drawing six with KCCA only coming out victorious on seven occasions.
