OFFICIAL: Vipers, Mbabazi Part Ways

Vipers have finally, officially, parted ways with head coach Livingstone Mbabazi following a series of uncertainties surrounding the tacticians stay at the Kitende-based club.

Mbabazi, who just joined the Venoms in January 2024 is departing after serving just three months of his two-year contract.

“We announce today that the decision has been taken to part company with our head coach Livingstone Mbabazi,” the club announced on Monday, April 8, 2024.

“We thank Mbabazi for his contribution and wish him well for the future,” Vipers added.

Vipers have started searching for a new head coach for the season 2024/25 as Richard Wasswa will be acting as Head Coach for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

Meanwhile, Jose Esdras Costa Lopez, Fred Muhumuza, Richard Kasule Bakabulindi and Ali Kimera (goalkeeping coach) will work with Wasswa as assistants.
